5 Ways To Keep Your Winter Look Girly

When layering up in cold weather, it can be easy to slip into a more drab feel. It is important to have utilitarian pieces that work to keep you warm but it doesn’t have to come at the sake of cuteness! Here are some of my tips from the past few years of putting in effort to keep my look girly in the winter ❄️ This blog post contains affiliate links that help support the cost of running my blog! Feel free to use them if you’re interested!

1. Skip the basic black puffer – I’m a proud owner of a basic black puffer – it gets the job done and I love mine – but it definitely is more of a utilitarian look! I have added a light pink, and hot pink puffer to my wardrobe to have more variety. By simply opting for burgundy, or purple you really can feminize your winter look and stand out in a sea of black!

2. Top it off – Berets, cute embroidered headbands, knit embellished hats or even one of my favorites Ear muffs add so much fun to a look! They’re so affordable to add to a wardrobe and really help keep you warm in a fun girly way!

3. Velvet and Velour fabrics! Velvet and velour dresses and skirts are so sumptuous and add texture to your look! They also happen to double as super warm and of course extra cozy! I have many velvet pieces and crushed velvet pieces and they’re some of my favorite for the season!

4. Faux fur! I love faux fur pieces like this guess vest I’ve had for 6 years now! I love faux fur in vests, scarf, and trim in the winter! It adds a dash of glamour and plus it insulates you!

5. Tights- specifically sweater tights!

Sweater tights and fleece lined tights are your friend! I love my black cable knit sweater tights! And for days I wear pantyhose I usually wear boots to keep my legs warmer!
